Do you want the very best that life can offer? Do you want to have hope for the present and for the future? Do you want to experience the joy that only Christ can bring? Do you want to know with certainty where you will go when you leave this world? You can have all of this. It's as easy as ABC. Here's how!
A- Admit that you're a sinner.
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23
The Bible not only tells us that we have sinned but that we are unable to do anything about our sin.
B- Believe that Jesus Christ is God's provision for salvation.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3:16
Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sin! He did what we could not do!
C- Confess Jesus as Lord and Savior
To confess Him as Lord and Savior means we must:
a. repent of our sin- repent means to turn away from sin and have nothing more to do with it.
b. place your faith in Christ- this means that you are willing to trust Him with your life.
If you have read this and you are sincerely ready to let Jesus become your Lord and Savior then you need to pray for Him to come into your heart. You may pray the following prayer.
Dear God, I know that I have sinned and need forgiveness of my sin. I
know that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died on the cross for me and
that He is able to remove my sin and give me eternal life. I am willing to
turn from my sin and receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I will trust Him
with my life and will live my life for Him. Thank you for my salvation. I
pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.
